  • MrCrayfish has not been fond of the new JSON rendering system in Minecraft and when trying to convert his Furniture Mod to 1.8, it was a big task. Writing block models in JSON is annoying because you can't see what it looks like. This program allows you to visually create advance block models for the new 1.8 resource pack system.

Prerequisite is that you use the same Microsoft account. Fortunately, there is a cool way to get free texture packs exclusively for Windows 10, iOS and Android.

Note: The CreatorPack is now fully released and available for Minecraft 1.16, 1.15 and 1.14! It contains a custom revamped texture for every single texture in the game.

Making a new TX block texture

NOTE: This part is for legacy reasons only.

Texture Pack Maker Minecraft Java

TX Blocks use ready made textures from the texture files. For example, a wooden fence uses the textures from a wooden plank. A stone button uses the texture from Stone and etc. So you can either use a ready made vanilla texture or have a go at making your own texture. It's best to use a program like GIMP for this not paint. First of all, take a look at this link for some more info on how TX blocks use these textures. Basically, to create the texture for it, you need to create your own texture and make sure the main parts you want for the fence are in the right spots. Or you can just make it completely identical.
